Production Companies
BBC Commissioning
A useful area that is part of the main BBC website. Gives details on commissioning and newly commissioned programs.
BBC Press Office
Again, advance news of BBC productions and other bits and bobs.
ITV
This is the corporate area of ITV's website, again giving press release info and other job details.
Channel 4
With this one, you need to click on 'About C4' which is on the bottom left of the home page, to access their production info.
FIVE
The youngest of our terrestrial broadcasters, with this one click on 'about five' on the left bar to get into the corporate areas.
Really Useful Group
Andrew Lloyd-Webber's company (just in case you didn't know....). Good site with lots of news, cast info, etc.
Cameron Mackintosh
There's no real central web-site for Cameron Mackintosh, this just takes you to the various show sites. There is some useful press info on some of these though.
Bill Kenwright Ltd
This is quite a new site, so it's not as extensive as some of the others on this page.
Granada PLC
Granada media website, again quite useful for behind the scenes info. Not intended for the general public.
Celador
Best known for 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire', Celador have an emphasis on gameshows and comedy. However, just established a film division as well, so worth a look.
Tiger Aspect Productions
Excellent site that gives you the low down on all of their past productions, as well as forthcoming and newly commissioned.
Hat Trick Productions
A strong emphasis on comedy again, but with straight drama too. Not the greatest of sites, but they do have a news section.
Endemol
Producers of 'Big Brother'. Almost exclusively game-shows, only worth a look if you're a presenter.
BBC (((Soundstart)))
This is a site for all burgeoning radio actors. The BBC have a repertory company who handle all the different plays, readings etc, called the Radio Drama Company. This is the website where you can read all about the company - and more importantly, various prizes etc that are available each year, which includes the winners becoming members of the RDC. As always from Auntie Beeb, a very well thought out and put together site.
BBC New Talent
This is the BBC's micro-site which gives you the chance to apply direct to Aunty Beeb for a job. There's sections for presenters, comedians (writers and performers), musicians and singers, as well as straight actors. There's a tips area for each section, as well as lots of other bits and bobs that will prove useful if you're starting out in the business. Probably not for old lags like myself, although, as with anything Aunty Beeb does, always worth a look.
Knights Templar Events
Murder Mystery Actors. Professional Actors required on an on going basis for as and when murder mystery events.
