This is a site for all burgeoning radio actors. The BBC have a repertory company who handle all the different plays, readings etc, called the Radio Drama Company. This is the website where you can read all about the company - and more importantly, various prizes etc that are available each year, which includes the winners becoming members of the RDC. As always from Auntie Beeb, a very well thought out and put together site. |

BBC New Talent
This is the BBC's micro-site which gives you the chance to apply direct to Aunty Beeb for a job. There's sections for presenters, comedians (writers and performers), musicians and singers, as well as straight actors. There's a tips area for each section, as well as lots of other bits and bobs that will prove useful if you're starting out in the business. Probably not for old lags like myself, although, as with anything Aunty Beeb does, always worth a look. |
